Accurate reproductions of The Beatles as they appeared in the iconic 1968 film, The Yellow Submarine, as 12” tall Action Figures.
Crafted in the popular in 1:6 scale, each highly detailed figure has over 32 points of articulation and comes with accurately styled fabric clothing. The clothing and detailing was painstakingly researched and is accurate in every detail.
Each limited edition figure is individually presented in a beautiful full-color five panel window box and also includes;

How do you turn a classic two dimensional animated character into a real world collectible?
Factory Entertainment selected sculptor Sean Dabbs to create detailed 3D sculpts for this project.
This was quite a challenge, as the animation style employed in the film is unique and deliberately fluid and
characters and elements change from scene to scene. This is because they were drawn by different artists, each one given some flexibility to experiment a little. The late 60’s were all about freedom of expression, after all!
To learn all the subtle nuances and variations, the film was painstakingly studied frame by frame and the Apple Corps archives were also consulted. Many digital sculpts were created. Once finalized all the sculpted parts were produced as physical ‘masters’ for production. To turn the animated clothing into actual fabric items tailored to fit a pose-able body, the Factory Entertainment team studied 1960’s clothing and fabrics, as well as many period images of The Beatles themselves.
Each figure is accurately and authentically crafted in 1:6 scale, to match precisely what is seen on screen. True to the film the proportions do not match normal human anatomy, but each figure has over 30 points of articulation, which allows for a huge range of poses and ‘realistic’ human movement.
