"TO THE BATCAVE!" Those three words evoke one of the most memorable interior locations in pop culture. Batman’s sanctuary, his base of operations, the nerve center of his activities-a mysterious subterranean lair that is equal-parts forbidding and exciting.
The Batcave has enjoyed many iterations over the years, both in print and on screen. One of the most enduring and iconic was the version that featured in the classic 1966 Batman TV series.
In practical terms, there was not one Batcave set. Rather, it was a series of ever-changing sets that would physically morph from scene to scene and season to season. It was a ‘live’ set that evolved regularly.
Because of the many variations in the Batcave seen on screen, our model does not attempt to duplicate a particular arrangement from a given episode or a specific scene. Rather it replicates the “feel” of the Batcave set as it is most commonly seen. The inclusion of movable elements allows you to customize the look of the cave around a core group of fixed parts, including the prominent ’atomic pile,’ which are presented in their most common positions.
The classic Batman TV series Batcave was a riot of color, with a uniquely 1960’s aesthetic. Each model contains more than a dozen different LED lights, in a variety of hues, both fixed and animated, that bring the Batcave to life, including:
- Hidden floor lights, to emulate the large floodlights with colored gels that were used on set.
- A pulsating color change effect inside the Atomic Core.
- Flashing lights in select monitors and screens.
The product has been meticulously hand-painted with period correct colors that were thoroughly researched and includes scaled replicas of the most important signage and graphics.
This model is not a static piece; it features a host of moving parts including:
- A turntable that can be manually rotated.
- Selected movable furniture that allows you to dress the set as you prefer.
- A faux rock door panel in the entrance tunnel that can be removed to allow access entry by the Batmobile. (Batmobile model not included)
The model measures an impressive 18” x 14” x 9” (45cm x 35cm x 22cm) and weighs in at over 20lbs.
It comes in a collector box and includes a combined booklet and certificate of authenticity that tells the story of the original set and the replica.
Each piece is individually hand-numbered.
The model is powered by 6 AAA batteries or an included AC adapter and lights are independently controlled by two separate circuits with on/off switches.

Deposits If specified on the payment page for the product, a non-refiunable deposit may be required to hold a pre-order. You will be charged the balance and will receive a separate email with tracking information for your shipment once the item(s) ships. Expected availability status is located on each product page beneath the price and above the Product Code.
If you selected "Payment Plan" when adding an in stock or pre-order item to your cart, you will be charged the initial installment and any applicable shipping and taxes during checkout. However, if you selected "Payment Plan" when adding a pre-order item to your cart that is not expected to ship within approximately three months from the date of order, you will only be charged the applicable non-refundable deposit during checkout and you will be charged the initial installment and any applicable shipping and taxes approximately three months prior to the expected ship date (please note that actual ship dates may be later than expected ship dates). All remaining installments will be charged monthly after the initial installment until the balance is paid. If a non-refundable deposit was charged at the time of checkout, it will be applied against the final installment. The initial installment is non-refundable in the event of order cancelation, return, or default on future installments.
In stock items on a payment plan will ship once the full balance for the item has been paid in full. Pre-order items on a payment plan will ship once the full balance for the item has been paid in full and once the product arrives in stock. If your order contains both in stock and pre-order items, we will ship the in stock items when the balance is paid in full and the pre-order items will follow in as a separate shipment when they arrive in stock and once the balance is paid in full. The status for the order in your factoryent.com account screens will show as shipped; this only refers to the in stock items.
