Artists Wanted!

Here at Factory Entertainment we are always on the lookout for artists to join our roster of talent. We have regular need to commission skilled individuals in the areas detailed below. Talent, great ideas and the ability to work within timelines are what we really look for in our partner-artists.

Please note these are freelance opportunities.

Painters
We are looking for skilled painters to create physical ‘paint-masters’ for our products. These paint-masters are used by our factories as a guide. Ideal candidates will have experience of production paint techniques and be able to create paint-masters from provided unpainted blanks as well as provide a master palette/pattern of colors used that can be referenced and copied by a factory.

Sculptors
Can you create eye catching, dynamic sculptural forms that would make great products? Do you want the chance to work with some of the most beloved characters in Film, TV, Music and Videogames? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you. Whether you work in traditional media, digital sculpture or a little of both, then we would love to see your portfolio.

Concept Designers
Do you have the ability to visualize product concepts in your mind’s-eye three-dimensionally and then illustrate those concepts as 2D drawings?

These drawings are used by us to better illustrate an idea or a concept to a licensor, sculptor or product engineer and can be traditional pen, pencil or ink, or digital creations. They will typically include multiple views and notes to explain something that could be overlooked or misinterpreted such as a product feature or moving parts. What’s important is that they clearly demonstrate the concept in an inspiring way.

Packaging Designers
Packaging is a vital part of our products. Working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop we have need of packaging designers who can create final packaging artwork based on our guidance and licensor style guide rules. You should have a strong eye for detail and the ability to proof read your own work. An understanding of cardboard-engineering and packaging production techniques is required.

Do you think you have what it takes?

Then please contact us via artists@factoryent.com and send us some examples of your recent work, or provide a link to your website (if you have one). Please do not send us any physical items in the mail.

We may not able to provide individual feedback for every submission, but if we like what we see and have a project where we think we could use you, then rest assured we will contact you.

If you would like further information please call us on (925) 270-3739.
